in response to Micheal Smith...Kind people have advised me that you maybe able to find help from churches, one suggested the Catholic Charities and Saint Vencent de Paul, another suggested United Way. I'm trying to help my daughter through some problems and we are going to try these suggestions. I have a friend in the Catholic church that is involved with one of the groups that works on needs like this. So I know there are religious organisations that have special groups to do work in the communities. Good luck and I hope there are brighter days ahead for you.
in response to bnlschkin...We will try that. Thank you so much for the advice. It's very helpful to hear ideas to try. Appreciate your help ! Happy Holidays
in response to coleycole...No, but thanks for the advice ! I've told my daughter and we will look into it. Thank you so much for the help. A month to carry them over would be a great help !! Thanks.
Trying to find help with my daughters rent for next month. Anyone find ideas that help ? Government help of any kind ? Websites that get results ? I'm open to anything (but preditory lenders).
I'm trying to find help for my daughter. She is expecting in June with my first grandchild. She and her fiance live in California and he is a hardworking Linux administrator, that just got laid off. The are $650 short on their rent this month and for the first time in her life, I can't help. I'm out of work for 18 months and having my own problems making mortgage payments. I'll be happy to repay a loan when I get reemployed. She needs help to get by the next month rent. Any help greatly appreciated and when I can, I'll be happy to return the favor or pay it forward.
